ROLE: Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Carlisle, Cumbria
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.15 – 5.00. Saturday on a rota
SALARY: 40k plus 2k sign on bonus + benefits

This is more than just a technician role. You’ll be a key player in a close-knit team, working alongside our service team and liaise closely with our aftersales manager to deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards of workmanship.

You will need to have previous Vehicle Technician experience in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop. You will also need a full UK driving licence and tools.

Duties:
• Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
• Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed.
• Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
• Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example.

About you:
• Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications
• Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence..

The company are open to basic salaries, plus you will make bonus and overtime. This will be discussed at interview stage
