ROLE: Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Leicester
SALARY: 38k plus 10k bonus + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 1 in 4 Saturdays

Flame Recruitment is currently looking for a Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake replacements, tyre fitting, and electrical system repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out various repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Test vehicles post-repair to ensure all issues have been resolved and the vehicle is operating safely.
• Assist with ordering parts and managing workshop stock levels as required.

Requirements
• Level 3 in City and Guilds or IMI
• Proven mechanical knowledge with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
• Experience in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently.
• Valid full UK driving licence
