Flame Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s workshop based in Wambrook, Taunton.

ROLE: Vehicle Technician
LOCATION: Wambrook, Taunton
SALARY: 40k plus overtime + company benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm

You will need previous experience in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop. You will also need a full UK driving licence and your own tools.

Duties:

Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately
Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed
Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks
Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example
About you:

Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications
Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
