ROLE: Parts Advisor
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
SALARY: 27k basic + bonus + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.30 (NO Saturday rota)

Parts Advisor required for a main dealer in Milton Keynes.

Our client, a well-known and successful independent workshop, are seeking a Parts Advisor.

Duties:

Greet workshop staff and assist with parts and accessories needs (in-person, telephone, email)
Identify correct parts for repairs, provide quotations, and advise on selection, availability and pricing
Take workshop orders, raise purchase order numbers, and handle invoices and receipts
Receive, unpack and store parts
Maintain stock levels, complete stock checks and identify when replacement stock is needed
Keep accurate records, pursue warranty claims, and maintain a clean and organised parts department
About you:

Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade
Excellent telephone skills
Good knowledge of car parts and confidence using electronic parts catalogues
