ROLE: Diagnostic Technician
LOCATION: Bury St Edmunds
SALARY: 43k basic, 50k ote + company benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00. Saturday 9.00 – 1.00 every other week
We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in the county of West Suffolk.
ABOUT YOU:
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician
• NVQ Level 3 or have a minimum of 4 years continuous experience
• Have up to date knowledge of Diagnostic systems
• Preferably but not essentially, be EV/hybrid vehicle qualified
• You will need to hold a full valid UK driving license
• Preferably but not essentially, with a current MOT tester qualification
• Be able to understand vehicle wiring diagrams.
• Be able to diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults
DUTIES:
• Diagnose complex systems and perform routine service and repairs across our vehicle range.
• Ensure every repair is a quality, first-time fix to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Communicate with customers to understand their issues and provide clear resolutions.
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and opportunities.

Salary dependent on experience, hours worked and qualifications, starting from £43,000 per annum plus bonus, with potential earnings of over £50,000 per annum.
