The Role
Flame Recruitment is recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Technician for a Main dealer group in Glasgow, working 40 hours per week. You’ll deliver advanced diagnostics and repairs with accuracy, support and guide the workshop team, and help resolve complex issues. You’ll also ensure excellent customer service so every vehicle leaves at its best, while upholding safety, quality and workshop performance.
Suited to a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair professional (or equivalent) with a full UK driving licence, strong technical know‑how and, ideally, experience of franchised‑dealer standards, you’re confident with workshop systems and care about the people and industry you serve. The package includes £46k basic (£56k OTE) plus 33 days’ leave including bank holidays, an extra birthday day, family leave policies, salary‑sacrifice car, paid volunteering, long‑service recognition, training and growth, cycle to work, high street discounts and referral rewards.

• You will carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs with accuracy and efficiency, using your technical expertise to uphold renowned standards.
• You’ll support and guide the workshop team, sharing knowledge and helping to resolve complex issues.
• A vital part of your role is ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and every vehicle leaves operating at its best.
• You will also contribute to maintaining safety, quality, and overall workshop performance.
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards ideally within a franchised dealer, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
