The Role
Flame Recruitment is seeking a MET Technician to join an automotive body shop in Medway, Kent, with a commercial vehicle employer. You’ll assess mechanical and electrical damage, strip and refit parts on accident-damaged vehicles, repair or replace panels and components to required standards, and use alignment equipment for wheel tracking and setup. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm.
It suits someone with previous repair experience in a bodyshop or similar environment, holding ATA or NVQ Level 3 and bringing a proactive, problem-solving approach. In return, there’s a 55k basic plus bonus + benefits, including 20 days’ holiday, sick leave/holiday plus statutory, and a pension scheme.
