The Role
Flame Recruitment is seeking a MET Technician for a commercial vehicle employer’s body shop in Sittingbourne, Kent. You’ll assess mechanical and electrical damage on accident‑damaged vehicles, strip and refit components, and repair or replace panels to required standards. Using alignment equipment for wheel tracking and setup forms part of the role.
The role suits technicians with previous bodyshop repair experience and ATA or NVQ Level 3, alongside a proactive, problem-solving approach. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm, with a £55k basic plus bonus and benefits, including 20 days’ holiday, statutory leave and sick leave, and a pension scheme, reflecting the responsibilities and consistency of the work.
