The Role
A commercial vehicle employer in Sittingbourne, Kent is seeking a Panel Beater for its body repair centre. You’ll assess accident damage, complete high-quality panel repairs, and strip and refit components as needed. Where required, you’ll carry out welding and structural work and ensure every repair meets manufacturer and industry standards. You’ll keep a safe, organised workspace and work closely with the accident repair team to return vehicles on time.
This role suits an experienced Panel Beater or MET Technician who enjoys working efficiently to maximise time‑saved bonus opportunities and takes pride in precise, standards-led repairs. In return you’ll receive £55k basic plus bonus and benefits, with Monday to Friday, 8.00–5.00 hours, 20 days’ holiday plus statutory and sick leave, and a pension scheme. Welding experience is desirable, with training available, and ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualifications are welcomed.

What We're Looking For
• Carry out high-quality panel repairs to accident-damaged vehicles.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair methods.

• Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer and industry standards.

• Work closely with the wider Accident Repair Centre team to ensure vehicles are completed on time.
• Previous experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician in body repair is essential
• Welding experience is not essential but highly desired (training will be provided)
• Qualification including ATA or NVQ Level 3 are highly desired
