The Role
Flame Recruitment is hiring a full-time Service Advisor for a prestige automotive employer in Eastbourne, East Sussex. You’ll welcome customers, book services and MOTs, keep records accurate and provide clear updates while vehicles are with us. The work includes processing payments, preparing job cards, managing courtesy cars and following up service plans, with close liaison with the sales team.
It suits an enthusiastic, well‑organised communicator who enjoys new technology and brings motor industry experience, knowledge of service procedures and a full UK driving licence. Package: £31.5k basic, £38k OTE plus benefits, minimum 25 days’ holiday, pension, staff car benefit, discounted private healthcare and staff discounts. Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00; 1 in 4 Sat 8:00–12:00. Group training leads to accredited status.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
• Liaise with customers regarding outstanding work and follow up on Service Plans.
• Log all appointments, reservations, and MOT’s are added to the database.
• Capture customer email addresses and assist in increasing the customer database.
• Deliver excellent customer service and obtain payments for service work and repairs.
• Maintain communication with the customer whilst their vehicle is at the branch.
• Complete job cards with accurate information.
• Liaise with the Sales Department to promote the sale of new/used vehicles.
• Book out and control ‘courtesy cars’.
• Previous experience in the Motor Industry
• Knowledge of servicing department procedures
• Full UK DL
