The Role
Join a main dealer group in Hull as a Service Advisor, providing confident front‑of‑house care through every stage of the aftersales visit. You’ll convert enquiries into bookings, welcome customers, qualify concerns for a right‑first‑time fix, and liaise with the workshop controller. Expect accurate data entry, warranty processing and invoicing, clear progress updates, thoughtful upsell of EVHC‑identified work and plans, effective complaint handling, and timely closure of your WIP.
It suits a recently experienced Service Advisor from a main, franchised or independent setting, with a full, clean UK driving licence, strong telephone manner and excellent customer service skills. In return: £32k basic with OTE to £40k, Monday to Friday 8:00–18:00 with no Saturdays, plus 33 days’ leave, birthday day off, pension, salary‑sacrifice car, family leave, volunteering day, discounts, referral rewards, and tailored training and career growth.

What We're Looking For
• Be able to effectively manage your time ensuring that you are prepared for the day ahead.
• You are expected to answer incoming client enquiries in a timely manner and convert into a meaningful booking based upon diary availability.
• Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
• You are expected to upsell clients’ additional products such as any identified work from the EVHC, services, & service plans.
• Actively listen to clients’ concerns, understand their needs, and ask qualifying questions to ensure a right first-time fix.
• Process client information and vehicle details accurately in our systems.
• Process and invoice warranty claims, ensure accurate documentation, timely submission and compliance with company with company and manufacturer guidelines. Maintain detailed records and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Keep clients updated of progress throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate with workshop controller to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Produce accurate invoices detailing the work carried out.
• Ensure that clients are completely satisfied post visit.
• Be competent in handling client complaints and objections.
• Be responsible for your own WIP ensuring jobs are completed and closed in a timely manner.
• Previous recent experience as a Service Advisor in a main, franchised or independent dealership/workshop
• Full, valid and clean UK driving license.
• Good telephone manner.
• Excellent customer service skills.
