The Role
Join a main dealer group in St Albans as a Service Advisor, acting as the central link between customers and workshop technicians. You’ll arrange and confirm servicing by phone and email, provide clear advice on reported repairs and any additional work, keep customers updated throughout, explain invoices and completed work, and proactively book future maintenance to keep vehicles on schedule.
This role suits a Service or Aftersales Advisor with a full UK driving licence and strong organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail. The package includes £32k basic (£35k OTE), Monday to Friday 8.00–6.00 with a lunch break and no Saturdays, plus benefits such as training academy access, career progression, high street discounts, a wellbeing portal and employee assistance programme, purchase, service and parts discounts, a referral scheme, and standard pension, life assurance, holidays and cycle to work.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
• Arranging and booking your customers vehicle servicing appointments via telephone and email.
• Provide best advice on any report repairs or additional service required, be able to sell with belief and become their point of contact for the duration of their vehicle being within our Workshop.
• Be able to provide updates and consultatively advise on repair work being or needing to be carried out.
• Create customer invoices and run through the work that has been carried out on their vehicle. Proactively reschedule appointments for the customer for any future vehicle maintenance or servicing.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor OR Aftersales Advisor
• Full UK driving license
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail
