The Role
As a Service Technician with a main dealer group in Solihull, West Midlands, you’ll carry out fault finding, diagnose issues and complete servicing and repairs on a range of motor vehicles. Working closely with other departments, you’ll ensure every job is completed safely and in line with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30–5.30.
This role suits a practical technician with NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle repair or equivalent workplace experience, a full UK driving licence and their own tools. The package includes £32k plus £600 per month bonus, plus overtime and benefits, 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension, a positive and supportive work environment, employee reviews and opportunities for career growth.

• Fault finding
• Detecting and diagnosing faults
• Undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles
• Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines
• You will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle repair or equivalent workplace experience working in a similar position
