The Role
Join a respected main dealer group as a Trade Parts Advisor in Southend, supporting trade and retail customers. You’ll handle enquiries by phone, email and over the counter, identify the right components using catalogues and internal systems, and process orders quickly and accurately. With a proactive approach, you’ll follow up quotes, promote relevant add-ons where appropriate, and build strong relationships that help the team meet monthly sales targets.
This role suits a sales-minded parts professional with at least two years’ experience and solid automotive parts knowledge; Kerridge/Keyloop familiarity is an advantage. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7.30–5.30, with 1-in-3 Saturdays 8.00–1.00. The package includes £30.5k basic and £40k OTE plus benefits, 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, workplace pension, free on-site parking, Perkbox, and ongoing training and progression opportunities within the group.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
• Proactively identify customer needs and promote additional parts, upsells, and add-ons where appropriate.
• Respond to trade and retail enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing expert advice and guidance.
• Use internal systems and parts catalogues to process orders quickly and accurately.
• Follow up on enquiries and quotes to convert into confirmed sales.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing trade customers to support ongoing business.
• Support the parts team in achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Process payments and maintain accurate sales records.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Parts Advisor/Trade Parts Advisor
• Strong automotive parts knowledge
• Sales-driven with excellent customer service skills
• Kerridge/Keyloop experience advantageous
