The Role
Join a main dealer group in Darlington, County Durham, as a Vehicle Technician working 40 hours per week with flexible working times. You’ll diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using manufacturer-approved systems, carry out repairs and component replacements, and complete coding and software updates. The role also involves thorough inspections, accurate documentation, and close collaboration with Service Advisors and fellow Technicians to deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Suited to a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair professional with cam belt and clutch experience, a full UK driving licence and confidence with workshop systems. What We're Looking For
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and systems.
• Carry out repairs, component replacements, coding and software updates.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional faults or safety issues.
• Complete accurate diagnostic and repair documentation.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other Technicians.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
