The Role
Flame Recruitment is hiring a Vehicle Technician in North West London for a main dealer group. You’ll carry out scheduled maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards, complete thorough inspections, and diagnose issues with care and accuracy. You’ll also liaise with service reception and workshop control to keep workflow smooth, and offer clear, professional advice to customers. Hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am–5.00pm with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8.30am–1.00pm.
This role suits a Level 3-qualified technician who takes pride in quality, holds a full UK driving licence and brings their own tools, and enjoys supporting teammates. In return, you’ll receive a basic salary around 55k depending on skills and experience, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including 33 days’ leave, retail and vehicle discounts, pension, wellbeing and healthcare support, flexible options and ongoing training.

• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs, following manufacturer standards and guidelines to ensure reliability and safety
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
• Provide expert technical advice to customers when necessary, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards, fostering trust that leads to repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate effectively with the service reception team and workshop control for seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
• Offer support and guidance to fellow Technicians in the workshop, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing
• Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
