The Role
Flame Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a main dealer group in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You'll diagnose and repair vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, support colleagues by sharing know-how on complex faults, and keep every customer experience and safety standard to a high level. Your work will help maintain workshop quality and performance while ensuring every car leaves operating at its best.
It suits a qualified technician holding Level 1-3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair with a full UK licence, confident with workshop systems and ideally experienced in a franchised setting. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week, £42k basic and £52k OTE, plus company benefits including 33 days' leave, birthday off, family policies, a salary-sacrifice car, and training and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
• You will carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs with accuracy and efficiency, using your technical expertise to uphold renowned standards.
• You’ll support and guide the workshop team, sharing knowledge and helping to resolve complex issues.
• A vital part of your role is ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and every vehicle leaves operating at its best.
• You will also contribute to maintaining safety, quality, and overall workshop performance.
• Level 1, 2, 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards ideally within a franchised dealer, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
