The Role
Flame Recruitment is hiring a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for an independent automotive business near Clissold Park in North London. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, you’ll handle routine servicing and repairs across a variety of vehicles, from engine rebuilds to occasional welding. You’ll strip and refit components, diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, and carry out thorough inspections, including work on electric vehicles, while maintaining a safe, tidy bay.
This role suits a hands-on technician with Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence and their own tools, comfortable with heavy lifting and confident with both mechanical and electrical tasks. In return, you’ll receive a salary of £55k plus company benefits, with overtime opportunities, a pension scheme, 28 days’ holiday and a free on-site gym, all within a busy, well-organised workshop.

What We're Looking For
