The Role
Join a settled, well-run workshop in a family business trading since the 1970s, operating within a main dealer group in Ipswich. As a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, you’ll take on servicing, MOTs, diagnostics and fault-finding, mechanical and electrical repair, and warranty work to manufacturer standards. You’ll also complete digital vehicle health checks, prepare Approved Used vehicles and carry out road tests where required.
This role suits a Level 3 NVQ-qualified technician with a current Class 4 MOT Tester licence and full UK driving licence, from either franchised or independent backgrounds and with a genuine interest in diagnostics. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm, on a £37k basic plus bonus, with manufacturer training, modern facilities, a supportive team, employee discounts, wellbeing and pension support, 30 days’ leave rising with service, and PPE/workwear.

• Servicing and routine maintenance
