The Role
This role will involve managing workshop flow, liaising between technicians, front of house, parts, warranty and customers, maximising hours sold, and helping deliver excellent customer satisfaction. Workshop control, technician, or aftersales experience and a full UK driving licence are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
• Maximise hours sold and support gross profit in line with the business plan
• Drive revenue per transaction through selling value and product sales
• Support full adherence to the VHC process
• Distribute and control work issued to technicians
• Maximise workshop quality, productivity, and efficiency
• Maintain regular contact with front of house and bookings teams
• Communicate accurately between technicians, front of house, parts, warranty, and customers
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team
• Identify training needs and support timely completion of training pathways
• Manage workshop annual leave requests to ensure sufficient cover
• Maintain workshop equipment, tooling checks, and calibration arrangements
• Maintain a strong relationship with the parts department
• Ensure accurate documentation is completed for each repair
• Ensure manufacturer warranty standards are adhered to
• Support processes that drive strong customer satisfaction scores
• Workshop control, technician, or aftersales environment experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Confident liaising with technicians, customers, and internal teams
• Customer-focused with a strong understanding of workshop flow
• Able to support productivity, quality, and daily workshop performance
